​The Manifest Program is a 3-month journey designed for artist-makers seeking to build and manifest a creative project across live-arts or film. The course moves from dreaming to shaping and finally to tangible manifestation through a combination of in-person workshops and/or a dynamic online format. Wherever you are, you can experience structured frameworks and making techniques that will empower you to bring your creative vision to life.

Join hundreds of artists who have developed projects across theatre, dance, storytelling and film. Be part of a making community that nurtures a supportive and inspiring making environment where you can envision and realise your ideas. Artists who have worked with The Solo School and used it as a creative base, have gone on to present their work at prominent festivals, venues, and art spaces worldwide, building their work and empowering their creative world.
THE MANIFEST PROGRAM
The Manifest Program follows a 3-part design: Dreaming, Shaping, and Manifestation. Each month, you'll engage in a dynamic making framework, diving into initial concepts, mapping ideas, and participating in creative writing exercises and artistic assignments. There are regular group sessions and online making weekends to share and witness work and discuss your creative process, while also benefiting from insights provided by guest artists.
MONTH 1: DREAMING
22ND MARCH - 19TH APRIL
The Dreaming process is a vital stage of the making journey. Curating a space to catch ideas and allow these dreams to germinate is the foundation from which all projects can flourish. This stage is about allowing your creative instinct to guide you, following threads of research, mapping the terrain of your project and cultivating your unique artistic voice.

MONTH 2: SHAPING
19TH APRIL - 17TH MAY
The Shaping process moves you into organising and shaping your material. This stage invites experimentation, developing forms, actions, scenes and expressive ideas that can be further sculpted. This month is all about playing with the material you have mapped, kneading its possibilities through an active investigation of research and development.

The Manifestation process brings you into the final stages of the program, where you focus on refining your ideas and how every detail aligns with your vision. This part of the process is about bringing your project to life, making necessary adjustments and embracing feedback and collaboration to elevate your work. This is a powerful stage in the program where you have the opportunity to get fully behind your project and move it into realisation.

Join Catching Dreams & Shaping Worlds, a two-part workshop event. These workshops form a central thread to the program and are a unique opportunity to explore your work with expert support. Here you can envision your world, and develop the tools to begin articulating your material.

I benefited hugely from the combination of working solo and being gently held by Henry, with regular one-to-one feedback and mentoring sessions; as well as excellent opportunities to share and witness work.
Knowing that this community of compassionate witnessing and support also had my back really helped me develop trust in the
process and confidence in my capacities as a maker.

descends and the going gets bumpy!

The program has been a strong holding container for me to dive deep into my project, to open up the layers, to explore and to play.
The 1-2-1’s with Henry offered the personal seeing and support that was really supportive.
The videos and structure offered were pieces of Art in themselves and so deep and wide and full of helpful structure and inspiration.
And then being in a cook pot of Artist’s working on their own projects supported me to recognise myself as an Artist more fully and take my practice seriously, seeing the gift that I and we as Artists offer.

Hi, I'm Henry. I’m an award-winning theatre and filmmaker, actor and creative educator.

I have worked within a wide-web of performance worlds, collaborating with internationally acclaimed theatre groups, working in mainstream television and film and carving my own creative world with my performance group Eden's Cave. I have a rich and varied experience in the creative arts and can support you to discover and inspire your pathway.
